Rotimi O. Johnson, MD

Dr. Rotimi Johnson joined the faculty in July of 2012 as an assistant professor of Interventional Radiology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and performs a wide range of interventional radiology procedures.

Dr. Johnson performed the first portal vein embolization for regeneration of the liver and selective internal radioembolization therapy for non resectable liver tumor at Saint Louis University Hospital.

His expertise is in Interventional Oncology, a subspecialty within Interventional Radiology that offers patients with minimally invasive, curative, palliative and adjuvant palliative cancer treatment options. In addition, he has expertise in treating patients with portal hypertension.

His wide ranging clinical interests include preoperative tumor embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, kyphoplasty, vascular angioplasty and stenting, hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal and genitourinary interventions.
