Nisha Mangalat, MD

Nisha Mangalat, M.D., joined the faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Dr. Mangalat earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, followed by a pediatric residency also at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She joins the faculty after completing her fellowship.

Dr. Mangalat is board-certified in pediatric gastroenterology and is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastoenterology and Nutrition. Dr. Mangalat is an attending physician at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center and has clinical expertise in abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and eosinophilic esophagitis. In addition to patient care and teaching responsibilities, Dr. Mangalat has research interests in probiotics.
