Henry B. Randall, MD, FACS

Dr. Randall is new to the Saint Louis University Hospital transplant team, leading surgical efforts for liver and kidney transplantation, hepatobiliary surgery, and general surgery on transplant patients. He provides pre- and post-operative care for patients with organ failure, awaiting transplantation, including critical care in the intensive care unit.

Prior to Saint Louis University, Dr. Randall held academic appointments at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, the Baylor Regional Transplant Institute, the University of Texas-Southwestern and the University of Louisville. His experience includes directing abdominal transplantation at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City and the pediatric liver transplant program at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, serving as chief of liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery at the University of Louisville, and serving as a clinical instructor for the liver and renal transplant program at the University of California at San Francisco.

He is a member of several professional societies, including the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the American Society of Transplantation (AST), and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS).

Throughout his career, Dr. Randall has lectured nationally and internationally, co-authored countless other chapters, abstracts and books.
